QS Supplies LTD reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits.
DELIVERY OF GOODS
The delivery of goods to you is deemed to be a separate contract for services, distinct from your contract to purchase the goods. Delivery may be made in one or more shipment. Changes to the delivery address made by the purchaser after the goods have been handed to the delivery company will incur an additional charge of £25.00.
All items require a signature on delivery. If the item is signed for by any other person than the named customer at the specified delivery address, the named customer is still responsible for the item and any other charges associated with it. Any instructions to our courier to leave the item with a neighbour or in garden etc are entirely at your own risk.
It is our goal to deliver large bulky items within 7 days, and small packaged items within 2/5 days (excluding weekends & public holidays) from payment and completion of your order. Delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen events. QS Supplies Ltd shall be under no liability or be held responsible for any consequential loss/damage as a result of failing to deliver within estimated timescales. It is our recommendation not to book a plumber/installer until your order has been delivered and checked for damage.
If an item on a delivery is damaged, make a note of the damaged item on the delivery paperwork and email us with the details. Do not refuse the delivery unless every item is damaged. If you refuse a delivery with any undamaged items on it you will be charged for the return and the redelivery of those items. Please also refer to section Checking of Goods.
The delivery drivers are not insured to take their vehicles on roads other than public highways. If you live in a remote location and your home is not on a public road, e.g. if you live at the end of a farm track, then the driver will deliver the goods to the end of the public road only. You accept this when placing your order and if you refuse the delivery because of the driver cannot drop at your door then you will be charged the actual delivery costs and collection fees. (This will apply to large, bulky item orders arriving on pallets like bathroom suites or shower enclosures. Smaller parcels can be usually delivered on foot by the driver.)
There may be an additional charge for large bulky items being ordered for delivery to very remote locations (such as Scottish Islands the list is not exhaustive) . If your order falls into this category then you will be notified of the extra cost and given the option of accepting the extra charge or cancelling your order.
The driver will/may break down the pallet and move the individual items to a single location of your choice outside the property. The drivers may be prepared to assist with moving the items into the property but this is entirely at their discretion, they are not obliged to do this.
The delivery will be made by a single driver, so if the items you have ordered are heavy please ensure that an able bodied person is available to assist the driver with the carrying. For Health and Safety reasons the driver cannot carry heavy items on his own.
Do not attempt to collect your order without prior communication with us.
Delivery rates mentioned within the item listing are correct at the time the listing template was created. These rates are subject to change without prior notice, since courier rates fluctuate
CHECKING GOODS FOR CARRIER DAMAGE AND NOTIFICATION
(Please note that the following applies to carrier damage, which should be visible from external damage to the packaging. It does not apply to faulty goods, you are allowed a reasonable period to examine goods for faults after delivery)
BULKY / FRAGILE ITEMS
It is the named customer’s responsibility to ensure that the entire order is checked thoroughly BEFORE signing the delivery note. For bulky and fragile deliveries that arrive on pallets you agree to check the goods thoroughly for visible transit damage (including glass damage) before signing the driver’s delivery note. If the driver delivering bulky items refuses to wait while you check the goods then you must refuse to accept the delivery and email us. Claims for damages or shortages will NOT be entertained if our courier has obtained a clean signature. Signing the delivery note ‘unchecked’ will not suffice.
Certain Couriers require you to confirm whether the date they intend to deliver is acceptable, before they load the vehicle, it is the named customer’s responsibility to ensure acceptance of delivery date has been communicated to them and that someone capable will be present to help the driver with any large and bulky items. Any access problems or difficult to locate addresses must be notified to our couriers. If we have had an item returned back to us due to non-communication on your part or no one was present to accept and sign for the item, you will be held responsible for any additional delivery costs. If you have not received your order within the timescales stipulated, you must notify us by email. If our courier has left a card you must contact them directly.
Please leave a contact telephone number where you can be reached during normal working hours for the Courier company to contact you. Orders without a telephone number may be delayed. Where a contact number has not been left, the courier company will at their discretion attempt to delivery the goods. A faileddelivery will incur additional delivery costs.
SMALL/ PARCEL ITEMS
For small item deliveries that arrive with carriers you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage as soon as possible and notify us of any damage within 24 hours of the delivery by email. If the package looks damaged then sign the paperwork with the word "damaged" but please be aware Parcel Force and Business Post will not wait for you to check the items thoroughly. .If we are not notified of damage within 24 hours we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within time.
If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you accepting goods and signing a delivery note without checking the goods for carrier damage
Returns & Cancellations
An item may only be returned if it is faulty or damaged In the event of a faulty or damaged item, you are required to email details of the fault or email digital images where the item is damaged. Upon receipt you will be notified of how to return or how the item will be collected and brought back to us for inspection.
All cancellations will be subject to a 20% cancellation charge to cover administration and restocking costs. Any costs incurred with our couriers will also be charged for.
We recommend that you take out Carrier Insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.
Goods that are being returned back to us should reach us in sellable condition. If our address is written all over the packaging then the product is no longer sellable and you will not be refunded.
Warranty
All items with warranty are between the manufacture and the purchaser. You are responsible for any shipping costs.
Payment, Pricing & Product Descriptions
Whilst we try to ensure all prices are correct, errors may occur. In the event of an error in the price of goods you have ordered or the delivery charge, we will inform you and give you the option to cancel or continue with your order.

Baths can sometimes be delivered without tap holes, even though the item description stated otherwise. Bath manufacturers sometimes do this since some people prefer to wall mount or would like the freedom to choose the location of taps. In this event, your plumber/installer will drill the holes since this is now very much a part of the bath installation process, and a replacement bath will not be sent. If you requested a bath without holes and have received one with holes, a replacement bath will be arranged at our cost.
Payment must be received within 7 days of purchase. No item will be despatched until full payment has been received and cleared by our bankers. PLEASE NOTE CHEQUES NORMALLY TAKE 14 WORKING DAYS TO CLEAR.
Communication
Email is the preferred medium for communicating with us, since it allows us to keep our costs down and continue to offer unbeatably low prices. Due to the huge volume of email enquiries it is not always possible to reply immediately. It is our goal to reply within 48 hours (excluding weekends & public holidays). In circumstances where it is required, our contact telephone numbers will be supplied.
Stock Inventory
Whilst great care is taken to ensure stocks of products are available, there may be occasions where broken, damaged, wrong stock from supplier or an over the counter purchase from one of our customers prevents us from fulfilling an order. In this event, you will be given the opportunity to wait for stock to arrive or cancel your order. Any monies paid will be refunded in full if you choose to cancel.
