7 Features Included In This Product Explained

All Pressure Taps

All Pressure Taps

All Pressure taps are compatible for use with all plumbing systems, including low-pressure hot water tanks. These taps can be identified with the 'A' symbol.

Ceramic Disc Cartridge

Ceramic Disc Cartridge

It has two ceramic discs, one fixed in place and the other moveable with the tap or valve handle. It is the most common technology used in modern tapware as it offers unmatched advantages such as no leaks and drips and saves on water and money.

Flexible Tail Pipes

Flexible Tail Pipes

Flexible Tails, or "Flexi" Tails, are one of the easiest methods to connect the plumbing pipework to the tap fitting. Mixers generally have two tails, one for the hot water supply and the other for the cold. These tailpipes consist of rubber inside a braided metal and come in many sizes.

Stainless Steel Material

Stainless Steel Material

Stainless Steel is an iron alloy with anti-rust and anti-corrosive properties, unlike iron. Along with other metal alloys, it contains a minimum of 10.5% of chromium and less than 1.2% of carbon. This robust, hygienic, hard-wearing base material is popular in the construction of bathroom products.

Quarter Turn

Quarter Turn

Operating these taps is almost effortless; it can be turned on and off by rotating the lever at 90 degrees. These taps have such low friction that they are perfect for people with arthritis, weak grip, the elderly and the young.

Dual Flow

Dual Flow

A dual-flow tap dispenses water in a single stream like any other tap; however, the inner working of the tap is different. Inside the tap body, hot and cold water flows separately and is mixed only once it leaves the tap body, preventing the spout from becoming scalding hot. Plus, there are minimal chances of backflow due to the separate hot and cold feeds.

Monobloc Tap

Monobloc Tap

A Monobloc/Mono tap has a single control lever that adjusts the mix of hot and cold water supplies and the flow rate. A mixer tap has two separate controls for hot and cold water. Both work equally well, and your choice will come down to aesthetics and how many tap holes your sink has. Monobloc taps are a neater solution and more modern in appearance.

Colleen Asked :

Hi there, I love the design of this tap and your price. However, I have read several reviews which state that the tap drips after turning it off. Have you had any complaints of this nature regarding this tap? Why do you think it does drip? Could it be a design fault or other cause, please?

Answered By Colin Answered by the verified purchaser Note to QS Supplies - Whilst attempting to respond appropriately to the request, my further experience suggests that a reduction in the size of grid openings would give surface tension a better chance and would stop the drip. Maybe you could discuss this with the manufacturer. Kind regards, Gregor Morcom

Answered By Richard Answered by the verified purchaser After turning the tap off, after a few seconds, it runs as if the spout is emptying. It does not continue to drip. Not sure why it does this, but not really a problem for us.

A Asked :

I like this Aquavibe tap which would be to replace one I had put in recently, but I have discovered it is not really suitable as I have a gravity-fed low-pressure system, and this tap needed a minimum of 0.5 bar pressure. Totally my fault for accepting bad advice. You learn from your mistakes! This Aquavibe has been advertised on several sites as needing only 0.3 bar pressure, so I was about to buy it from you, but I see you advertise it as needing 0.5 bar. I really don't want to make the same mistake again.

Answered By QS Team Answered by the QS Technical Team

For the best result, this tap requires a minimum pressure of 0.5 bar and a maximum pressure of 5.5 bar, as recommended by the manufacturer.
