After thinking long and hard about the perfect bath for my bathroom upgrade earlier this year, I am so glad I opted for the Carron Delta. Initially, it was nothing more than a readily available 1650mm length which pointed towards Carron as there are not many baths at that size out there from other manufacturers. I’d also previously had a steel bath fitted and assumed that acrylic wouldn’t meet the needs of an overhead shower being used daily. But when I looked at the spec and price of the Carron, and after consulting my plumber, I made the decision. by plumber easily installed it, and I can honestly say the Carron Delta is the sturdiest bath I have ever used. The contours are good for a relaxing bath, and when getting in and out of the shower, the flat bottom of the unit gives you a sense of sure-footedness and stability, and there is no feeling of slippage at all. The look is superb as well and fits in with our retro-style decor. The people at QS made my purchase so easy, too, and the guy who served me when I collected from the Leicester depot couldn’t have been more helpful. All in all, I am one delighted customer.
I have this bathtub because its the only 1650x700 on the market. Its shape is trendy but in practical terms, uncomfortable to use. Where you rest your back is not a flat surface but curves outwards so that your spine is curved when lay to force you to look at the ceiling of the bathroom. Because this ridiculous curve requires more length, the base of the bath has been reduced in length. So expect a bad neck, strained back & to have to lie down with knees fully bent to get your chest wet- I do and Im 5 foot 7.
The only bath we could find that was 1700 long and we were not disappointed. It was delivered on time and with care from the company directly and the driver was very friendly and showed us what to look for in the event of damage. The bath is light and you can move it on your own. The instructions were easy to understand and the bath went in without too much issues. You can use either a 20 or 30mm long waste pipe for this bath.
This bath was easy to install and looks great in my daughters bathroom. It was not easy to find one with these exact measurements but the one we did find, which is this, is a quality product

Justin Asked :Hi, I am after a delta 1650 x 700 bath. Does it come with 2 tap hole? 1 photo shows this the other doesn't.
All of our baths come with no tapholes so that your installer can drill to suit whichever tap arrangement you have chosen.
Julie Asked :Will any folding bath screen fit the Carron delta bath. This is really important to know before buying
There should be no issues with installing a folding bath screen with the Delta model. Should you need to clarify compatibility, please forward the technical specification of the screen you are interested in?
Julie Asked :This is the only 1650mm bath I can find anywhere, it looks like the edges are curved. I need to attach a bath screen, so it needs to lay flat. Is this suitable? Many thanks.
The Delta 1650mm is made to take a shower screen, so you should have no problem with this. We also have the Quantum Integra 1650mm bath which you might prefer. This can also take a screen with no problem.
Ian Asked :Does the Carron delta ship with legs included, or are these extra? Thanks, Ian
This bath is supplied with a full installation kit
Scott Asked :Hi, The description says this does not come with a front or end panel. I would need a lengthways (1650mm) panel. Do you stock these?
Bath does not come with a front or end panel, but you can buy it separately from the option given.
Mike Asked :If I fit a shower above the non-waste end of the Carron Delta bath will a bath screen form a seal with the sloped edge?
There is enough room to install a standard screen on a Delta 1650 bath. Please check with your manufacturer that your chosen screen can be fitted on a 30mm ledge.
Stephanie Asked :Do Carron baths (without Carronite) have encapsulated baseboards? Thank you.
Majority of the Carron range come with encapsulated baseboards; however, some of the older 5mm models such as the Swallow and Ibis do not.
