Flexible Tail Pipes

Flexible Tails, or "Flexi" Tails, are one of the easiest methods to connect the plumbing pipework to the tap fitting. Mixers generally have two tails, one for the hot water supply and the other for the cold. These tailpipes consist of rubber inside a braided metal and come in many sizes.

I would like the lever on the left side, can this tap be installed the opposite way around and swivel the tap?

You can install the tap that way. Just be aware that there is a hole at the ‘back’ of the tap (to tighten/remove the spout) that will show if you install it with the handle on the other side. Please see the attached PDF File for reference.

Have a 7-year-old version of this block tap - swivel seized, causing the body to turn in its mount. Managed to ease with WD40 But cannot figure the best way to apply silicon grease - does the grub screw on the side act as a grease point? Many thanks

You need to loosen the grub screw (A7) and then remove the spout that way. Once removed you can apply grease on the O-Rings.

Does this tap need a support bracket?

Thank you for your enquiry. Tap support brackets are only required if the tap is being mounted through stainless steel sink as the support bracket prevents the sink from flexing and movement of the tap. If your media tap is being mounted to a stainless steel sink, we would advise using a support bracket.
