Can I connect the outlet hose to a roof vent instead of in a soffit?

Providing there are no steep inclines or gradients with the ducting/trail and the motor is fitted in line with our fitting instructions, there should be no reason why the ducting cannot be connected to a roof vent rather than in a soffit. Please refer to the attached fitting instructions. As the fitting instructions mentioned, extra ducting may extend the distance to the external grille, but the performance will be reduced."
