I am interested in the Simpsons Soft Close Slider Door. I am looking for a shower door that will fit into a recess with a gap of 1070mm. Would this door be suitable and is there a particular kind of tray? Do I need to go with it? The tray I currently have has a ledge of 6.8cm. Kind regards Sue

The overall tolerances a DSLSC1100 can achieve is 1060 - 1085 within an alcove. Therefore with you 1070mm, this enclosure would fit. Please check this tolerance doesn't fall below 1060mm at any stage, top, middle or bottom. ?We recommend using a tray with a minimum lip of 60mm to support the 55mm glass guide referenced at a later stage within the instructions.

The pictures suggest that there is no frame down the left hand side where the door closes. Can you please tell me how the door seals against the wall, in my case tiled and a couple of mm out of true? Thanks, paul

The sliding door has a bubble seal on the edge of the glass. As some walls are slightly out, we do actually offer an optional closing profile, refer fitting instructions guide Step 19.
