On the Bristan Java bathroom sink mixer, what is the difference between the clicker waste and the eco clicker waste? Also, I am replacing a Just Taps Althena mixer. Would the hole in the sink be the same and fit?

The Java Eco tap is designed to limit water consumption and increase water efficiency. The waste for the eco tap is a normal clicker plug, so there are no differences between the wastes of both taps, as the tap is eco-friendly. Measuring the diameter of the waste hole to check if ours will fit is recommended. I Need to replace the ceramic disc cartridge for the Bristan java mono basin mixer tap. What technical information do I ask the shop to get the correct purchase? The tap top needs forcing off due to years of build-up; I don't want to force it out until I get a replacement ready.
