The Classic Low-Level WC Pan from Twyford is constructed from vitreous china, is sturdy and comes with a horizontal outlet. Suitable for commercial use, it can be screwed to the floor with the cistern screwed to the wall and supported on brackets.

It features washdown action with an open flushing rim. Its white finish gives it a clean look while cleaning and is guaranteed for 25 years against any fabrication defect. Pair it with a traditional towel rail, Toilet Seat and Cover for a complete look.

Horizontal Outlet

When the pan has piping at the back, inside the wall, it is called a horizontal outlet toilet or pan. As the cisterns are concealed or placed against the wall, most plumbing is hidden out of sight.

Vitreous-China Material

Vitreous china is an innovative glass-based enamel coating applied to porcelain. This glazed coating makes the base material durable, denser, and very glossy. When ceramics are coated with vitreous enamel, the resulting product is called vitreous china. This enamel is created by applying heat to powdered glass.

Washdown Model

A washdown toilet uses the weight of the water and gravity to push out the toilet waste from the toilet bowl. The washdown toilet is designed with a short and wide trapway, so that waste can quickly enter the trapway using just the force of water from the tank. A washdown model includes a push-button flush and has a skirted design with a smaller water surface area and a short trapway and can easily handle heavy loads without getting clogged.

Open-Back Toilet

Open-back toilets are a type of close-coupled toilet with a cistern attached to the back of the toilet, creating one single unit. In the open-back model, there is a space at the back between the toilet bowl and the wall to access pipework at the back, while the closed back does not have a gap.

I am looking at purchasing a Twyford Classic low-level pan and cistern. There are two options for the cistern below: OP-4026 - BS Low Level 6 Litre Cistern With CP Lever - CC2641WH and OP-4027 - SS Low Level 6 Litre Cistern With CP Lever - CC2841WH. What is the difference between them? Ideally, I would like a side water input and the lever on the left.

The existing service point of the cistern cannot be altered. This - (CC2641WH) is a low-level bottom supply cistern, and this - ( CC2841WH ) is a low-level side supply cistern.

Can the metal brackets be fitted behind the cistern to hide them? What centres should I fix them at should they miss the ridge on the bottom, so the bracket is flat on the bottom? The cistern is a Twyford classic low-level.
