Washdown Model

A washdown toilet uses the weight of the water and gravity to push out the toilet waste from the toilet bowl. The washdown toilet is designed with a short and wide trapway, so that waste can quickly enter the trapway using just the force of water from the tank. A washdown model includes a push-button flush and has a skirted design with a smaller water surface area and a short trapway and can easily handle heavy loads without getting clogged.

Compact Toilet

True to its name, a compact toilet has smaller dimensions and takes up less space by incorporating design changes such as a smaller tank, seat, and a round rather than an elongated bowl. Also, a toilet with a depth of under 500mm can qualify as a compact toilet. However, a compact toilet can be subjective as it depends on the size of your bathroom and what size of toilet your bathroom can accommodate.

Is the available seat for the Duravit D code soft close?

The Plastic hinges seat is a soft close seat with automatic closure. The Stainless Steel seat is standard, i.e., a non-soft close seat. The seats are not included with the product but are available as an option.

We have bought a Twyford E100 sink from you. Will the Duravit D-Code toilet go with this in terms of colour/finish? I'm concerned that white from Twyford may not be the same as white from Duravit.

Twyford White Ceramic would have a RAL colour reference of 9003, while Duravit Ceramic is arctic white (not registering through RAL). There is a slight difference in both white finishes.
