After fitting the taps, then the overflow in the bath then the shower hose I saw my mistake. Without the angled connector, I would have needed to buy another bath and re drill the holes for the tap in a different position. The connector arrived quickly and seems very good quality.

Does the knurled section of the Bristan angled hose connector turn separately to the body? Haven't got the room if the whole thing turns into the under spout connection.

We can confirm that the knurled part of the Bristan CON1 C does move independently so that the hose can be angled from any position.
