Warmup Inscreed WIS180 Details

Warmup Electric Inscreed Cable for Underfloor Heating System is 6mm thick and protected with multiple layers of insulation. Grounding braid means that its safe even in wetroom installations and bathrooms. It has been designed for installation in a concrete screed of 50mm to 100mm. After installation, the heated screed can be covered with flooring of your choice without any trouble. It is suitable for all primary and secondary heating applications and especially where heating is constantly required. The cable comes with a Safety Net Installation Guarantee, where the manufacturer will replace any damaged heater returned to store for a free replacement. Apart from this, it is backed by a ten-year warranty.

  • It is designed for use within a screeded floor construction
  • Once installed within a screed, this system is suitable for any underfloor heating compatible floor finish, which can be easily lifted and replaced as desired without any risk of damaging the heating system

  • Suitable Floor Coverings for Inscreed Cable:
  • Almost any floor covering can be considered with Inscreed Cable. Since the heater is safely embedded in cementitious screed, there is less of a risk of harming the heating cable if the floor covering is changed from time to time. The following floor coverings are suitable with Inscreed cable:
  • Tiles: If a tiled floor is being laid on top, flexible tile adhesive and grout must be used with the underfloor heating
  • Laminate/Wood: With laminate or engineered board floors, it is essential that it is no more than 18mm thick to ensure that the heat can transfer through the covering. If you use a layer of soft insulation beneath the flooring, it must be compatible with installation on top of an underfloor heating system
  • Carpet: For carpeted floors, hessian-backed carpets must be used, and the Tog rating of the carpet and underlay must not exceed 2.5 togs
