Peter Asked :I cannot get the shower, or another outlet on a Burlington Trent concealed two outlets thermostatic shower to run hot despite adjusting the thermostatic cartridge to maximum, and the boiler temperature to 65C. However, it does start to run hot if I reduce the cold water supply pressure by running cold water taps in the house.
We are so sorry to hear about the temperature-related issues you're experiencing with your Burlington Trent shower valve. We can help and advise you, can you please confirm what bar pressures you have on your hot and cold feeds? From the information you have provided, it does sound like there is an imbalance of pressure and therefore this is causing the cold water to override the hot resulting in you struggling to receive the hot water through. Please confirm, we will await your reply.
We will soon verify the details and add your rating appropriately.
