The thermostatic cartridge effectively maintains your desired showering temperature. The maximum water temperature is pre-set at 38°C. This aqua beauty is suitable for medium and high water pressure and comes with a 5-year manufacturer guarantee to protect you against any manufacturing defects. Suitable to use with all types of baths such as double-ended, corner, reinforced baths and more.

For a thermostatic bath/shower tap, this is exceptional. The default handles are great in that they are light to use, so you can turn them on/off with your foot whilst standing. The flow adjusts as needed to ensure you never get a cold/hot shock when others use water in your house. The pull knob to switch to the shower is light but engages with a satisfying little thunk. A quality unit that is well worth the money, in my opinion.

Bristan are a byword for quality. Have had a conventional shower attachment of theirs for a number of years and it continues to give good service. The design utility bath shower mixer is very stylish. Great price and exceptional service from QS supplies.

Will I need a pump if I have my bath taps changed to a Bristan Design Utility Lever Thermostatic Bath Shower Mixer? I have gravity, my gas boiler is a glowworm 330 p, and my hot tap flow rate is 16 lpm.

This product works between 0.5 – 5 bar, so if the bar pressure is not within this range, it would not be suitable. If below 0.5 bar, then a pump would be required.
