It comes with a ceramic disc valve for ensuring uniform water flow and smooth operation. After having a poor-quality product installed and used for a few years, I finally took the opportunity to upgrade to a better unit. I needed a vertical unit with two outlets, and this exactly fits the bill. I also prioritised the need for it to be a good brand, and I was not disappointed by this Bristan unit. It looks great, feels solidly made and has actually allowed us to change the temperature when taking a shower - not just crazy hot or freezing cold. I would definitely recommend it.
