Insusound Coating

The 1810 Company’s sinks are treated on the underside with a protective powder coating called Insusound. It helps retain the heat of the water, and if you fit a waste disposal unit, it will also help

CE Certified Sink

All 1810 kitchen sinks are manufactured to the highest standard and are built to comply with Construction Products Directive (89 / 106 / EEC). These sinks are CE certified and tested to BS EN 13310: 2003 / BS EN 13310: 2015 standard.

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called 'without-overflow' and will need a compatible drain.

Do the basket strainers act as a seal when there is water in the bowl, or do you need to buy plugs?

You will require the strainer plug to seal the water; this comes complete with the basket strainer waste.

A waste tidy is a round disk that sits on top of the basket strainer waste kit. Please refer to the attached Image 1 and Image 2. Waste tidies are sold individually, so if you require one for each plug, then you would need to purchase 3.
