Does the Methven Aurajet Aio with the simple (non-bar) tap have a thermostat included? How do you set the extent of hot and cold? It is difficult to see from the photos or technical pictures (or I may be missing something).

The Methven Aurajet Aio Shower System Chrome is just the rail, overhead/handset and hose; you would need to purchase a valve to make this work.

I assume that this shower needs a hot and cold water supply and also a mixer valve to adjust the temperature - preferably thermostatic. When I look at the installation instructions it shows only a single pipe connection to the wall. How does this shower work?

Thank you for your enquiry. Yes you would need a shower valve to work this shower systems. This product is just the two shower heads and you have a diverter, at the bottom to change from fixed head to hand set. And yes it would be a thermostatic valve. Please search for 2VDIV on our site for shower valves that we usually recommend to work alongside the shower system.

The diverter is at the slide rail base so a diverter kit would not need to be purchased.
