Fireclay

It is incredibly hard-wearing and has an everlasting shiny surface. They have a high heat resistance (1600°C) and are chemical resistant, non-porous, and hygienic.

It is a better sink than I had before, but the design is basic and could have been better. The water spilt on the raised external areas does not run back into the sink but runs onto the work surface, causing me to wipe around the sink on certain occasions.
