Mr Asked :Is this unit suitable for fitting into a WC Furniture unit? If not, which product is it?
If the unit is hand-built, then 111.004.00.3 (QS-V93519) is suitable, but if it's a standard pre-made Furniture unit, you will need 111.207.00.2 (QS-V93844).
ghilly Asked :We want to use the Vola A82 single flush on this (which Vola advise is compatible with Omega cisterns), but please could you confirm. We would want the flush to be front-mounted. What is the minimum depth we need available? Your diagrams show 170mm (but with a top-mounted flush). Or for a front-mounted flush 140mm with a 70mm access box, which you say can be cut down. How much can it be cut down by? (Nb although the flush would be front mounted, this would be going in a wood-panelled room) so there would be access to the cistern from above (liftable shelf) and most probably by the whole front panel being removable.
Yes, 17cm is the minimum recommended space required behind the wall for an Omega frame; this includes space for the frame and waste pipe. Please also note that the access box can be cut down to whatever size is required.
nichola Asked :What's the highest setting you can hang a toilet on this frame size? We are building a built-in unit, the client really wants the wall hung, but we are forced to have an over-mount sink and don't want the unit to stand too tall. In the same instance, the Clients are very tall and would like a comfort height toilet placement. Can you help?
Depending on which pan this cistern is used with, the top of the pan will sit approx.40cm (+2/-1cm) from finished floor level. The frame can be raised above the install maker to lift the pan height, but this will affect the overall height of the frame.
James Asked :Will this flush plate MFC Code: 115.770.11.5. work with this Cistern and frame MFC Code: 111.004.00.3
Unfortunately, this frame is incompatible with the Geberit Sigma01 Dual Flush Plate.
Darren Asked :Does this frame come with a flush plate? If not, which ones are compatible?
Flush Plates are available as optional products. Please refer Compatible Flush Plate Tab in the product.
Geoff Asked :We are hoping to buy this for quite a tight situation. We will be using it with the actuation at the front, not at the top. Can you explain what the diagram is showing on the far right? It seems to show the actuation sticking out by 7cm, where we would prefer it to be flush with the wall. Does this mean that the installation's total depth will be 14cm + 7cm (i.e. 21cm)?
The extra 7cm is for the protection box, which is trimmed down depending upon the board's depth and tiles at the front.
Julia Asked :Could you please confirm that the Geberit Duofix 500 x 820mm WC Frame With Omega Concealed Cistern 12cm QS-V93519 comes with the wall fixings
We can confirm the Omega 820mm high frame and cistern (part code 111.004.00.1) comes with the fixing bolts to the solid back wall.
We will soon verify the details and add your rating appropriately.
