Jonathan Asked :When in the compatible flush plates with the VitrA Reduced Height Wall Hung WC Frame - there are 3 choices for the frame type. Would this one be the "Short Frame - 760"? Also, are the pneumatic ones considered better than the mechanical ones?
This WC frame 760-5805-01 is a "Short Frame - 760", which is only compatible with Mechanical flush plates. Whereas considering a better between pneumatic and mechanical. These are the difference between both. A Pneumatic plate uses air pumps connected to a small hose to activate the flush, which is beneficial when you want to position the cistern away from the plate, whereas, in a manual plate, you press the button, and it will operate the flush directly.
David Asked :Hi, Could you give me some advice, please? I want to install a wall-hung WC. I intend to use the VitrA Reduced Height Wall Hung WC Frame. Would the Rak Resort Wall Hung WC Pan With Soft Close Seat be compatible with the above? Is the flush plate below compatible with the frame/cistern? QS-V101336 VitrA Flush Plates. Does the flush plate come with the fixing plate, rods etc?
Other manufacturers' pans will be fully compatible with VitrA cistern frame products, and all the mechanical-style flush plates we do will suit the frame you are waiting to use. The Flush plate is supplied with a mounting plate and push rod pack, but you will need to discard these and use the special set supplied with the reduced-height cistern itself.
Paul Asked :Please could you tell me if the soil pipe has to go straight down at a 90-degree angle or if it can be placed at a 45-degree angle to avoid floor joists like the Grohe manufactured wall frames?
If that is what you need, the soil pipe on this frame can be turned to a 45-degree angle.
Jonathan Asked :Any of these frames allow a rear waste. All seem to be out and down.
If you were looking to have the waste pipe run straight out to the back, you would need to change the waste pipe to a straight one.
Graeme Asked :What are the options for securing this to a non-brick wall? I am looking to install using a timber frame and then attach top fasteners to a piece of timber secured to a studded wall through the studs.
You will need to use the floor stand to install it into a non-brick wall.
Joanna Asked :Hello, I have a couple of toilets below a window sill which is only 80cm high. I was therefore going to get a couple of the Vitra 750mm frames, but our builder says having 750mm frames will result in the toilets being hung very low. Is this the case at 750mm?
You can adjust the height of the cistern via the legs, but it will be a little lower than a standard pan; depending on the height you have, you will be able to adjust.
We will soon verify the details and add your rating appropriately.
