I've just bought this loo. It's very elegant and I'm very happy with it but the soft close takes a full 40 seconds, which is way too long if you're waiting to flush it. Hudson Reed advise there's nothing you can do about this. My advice - get a normal loo seat and don't spend the extra on soft-close. I'm sure impatient guests will break it soon enough!
