The Hudson Reed Walk-In Wetroom Screen with Chrome Ceiling Post is made using 8mm thick toughened safety glass and is shower shield coated on one side of the unit. Suitable for creating single-way and/or two-walkway enclosure, this product also features an aluminium profile that comes in a stunning polished chrome finish. Available in several different width options and supplied with support bar for secure installation, this model also includes a chrome ceiling post and height of 1950mm. The screen comes with a lifetime guarantee against manufacturing defects. Looks best with shower column and matching bathroom accessories.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Frameless

As the name implies, shower doors or bath screens with minimal framing in the design are called frameless. As the enclosure is mostly glass, it can offer a clear view into your shower to highlight features that need attention, such as tiling, shower columns or other components. Aesthetically stunning, these are generally made of very thick safety glass.

When used with single-entry, one side has the pole.., and the other side is fixed to the wall....how does the glass fix to the tiled wall?.. are there fittings included?.. or do I need to acquire those in addition? I have a unit in my basket awaiting the answers.
