After searching various trade outlets and the internet, I eventually found the quality shower curtain rail I required. It arrived well-packaged and contained all the parts required to fix it to the bathroom wall.

Why can't I find a shower curtain rail the right size for a shower? My shower is 790mm wide, and all the rails I have found are well over a metre, often two. It isn't worth getting a 2200-length rail when I need less than half of this. It seems crazy I can get a rail for a bath but not for the width of a shower width.

We have a few standard rails, like the Croydex Professional Profile 800 Straight Curtain Rail, with the shortest being 760mm, then 915mm, which can be cut to size.
