Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. Can I pair it with Premier Quattro 805 x 1400mm MFC NSBS7 double-hinged? I know it would be just short of 840mm if the hinge is flexible. Is the hinge flexible? Does it open to form a straight alignment with the panel?
