Inset Sink

Inset sink units can be installed above the worktop - typically used with plastic worktops fixed with a clamping plate as a support material and a seal fitted underneath the sink flange to prevent water from getting under and dripping into the kitchen unit.

Cabinet Size

The sink must be chosen considering the cabinet size or the unit size into which it will be installed. Units come in many sizes, such as 40, 45, 50, 60, 80, 90, and 100cm. An essential factor in the purchase is the sink unit size, in the calculations of which need not include a possible drainer.

I had been after one of these sinks in black for a while but was about the cost and durability for my utility room. I finally ordered as this was discounted and really impressed. So hard-wearing, it took quite some time to tap out the tap hole, which reassured me this sink is not going to scratch or crack easily. Looks stunning in place. The only thing that I would improve is the colour. Under white light it appears more dark grey than a solid black. I have changed my kitchen lighting to warm white, which has compensated. I have also ordered the double sink version and cannot wait to install it.

What is the thickness of the tap holes in the Reginox Ceramic single bowl kitchen sink, please, and how are they opened/punched out? We are looking to buy a tap that has a maximum of 35mm.
