Hi, I've read the Customer Data Sheet for the product, which is very helpful, but I am still unsure whether or not the taphole for the sink is reversible. Can it be plumbed into either the right or left side? Also, for connecting to a waste pipe, is the cabinet designed to be fitted only with a bottle trap (or a flexible waste trap for furniture) and from there to a drain outlet above the height of the back panel? From what I can gather from the side-elevation drawing, the back panel is flush against the wall. Could I cut a 45mm hole in the back panel to access my existing waste-pipe drain hole in the cloakroom wall?

The basin tap can be plumbed on either the left or right-hand side. A standard bottle trap would work fine with this product. You can cut the unit, but as with any product, if you have to cut the item to make it fit, any warranty would be void
