Does the handle on the side to control water flow/temperature need to push backwards, or just forwards and outwards? I have limited space behind where the tap will be located.

The Clearwater Porrima Kitchen Sink Mixer Tap (PO3CP) handle needs to be pushed back for cold water, so it might not work well if you have limited space behind the tap.
