It creates a ‘cooling channel’, a barrier between the hot water and the exterior, and inhibits hot water from travelling along the back of the brass body, ensuring that the outer surface never exceeds the selected temperature of the shower water.

Grohe SafeStop & SafeStop (Plus)

This button is factory set at 38°C, which prevents users from increasing the water temperature beyond a specific limit. When required, higher temperatures can be selected by pushing the button.
