Aquaglass Purity Penta 1900mm High Pentagonal Enclosure has a lovely 5-panel profile and is a great alternative to quadrant enclosures. Completing your shower enclosure is simple with this product that comes with outwards opening door and five panels for creating your enclosure. Manufactured out of toughened safety glass, the doors and panels resist scratching and shattering accidents. The glass is coated with Easy-Clean Aquashield Glass Coating, helping it keep away build-up of hard water, minerals and limescale. As a result, the enclosure is very easy to clean. Use it with pentagonal shower tray and waste, which you can find right here from our online store.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Does the Purity Pentagonal shower enclosure really have 5 panels? Does it stand alone and not need a tiled background? I'm hoping the glass at the rear two sides might mean they can be built over wallpapered walls so the design can be seen through the cubicle. Can you confirm?

Is it possible to change where the hinges are in order to change which way the door would open? i.e. open in the opposite direction?

The Enclosure features a reversible design. It can be turned upside down to get the other hand opening.

Hi I have fitted a pentagonal shower base that i purchased last year that seems to be an odd size and was looking for a shower enclosure to fit it. The Aquaglass purity seems to be the closest fit. I am keen to understand if there is any adjustment in the 400mm measurement on the 2 sides. The base i have fitted is 395mm as manufactured and i have fitted a wall board (instead of tiles) which reduces the available length to 380mm. At the front my shower base measures 720mm, i think that the 707mm shown on the aquaglass drawing will be OK.

The door is reversible, so it can be used either left or right-handed.

With regards to the Aquaglass Purity 6mm Pentagonal Enclosure, is there a fixed bar across the top of the door? So when you open the door, the chrome bar is still there and not attached to the top of the door?
