Can you explain when these taps are fitted and how the HOT and COLD should turn ON and OFF? I have a customer that thinks the HOT is the wrong way to shut off.

The HOT handle will open one way, and the COLD handle will open the other, so they are opposite. It is how the tap is designed, and most modern taps are this way. The customer can have the tap handles operate similarly by inserting the tap cartridge they want. As this is amending the product, these will be chargeable.
