Yes, the Clearwater Krypton Tri-Spa is compatible with a water-softening system.

The Clearwater Krypton Kitchen Sink Mixer Tap With Filter (KR2CP) tap has separate pipes inside. The filtered water comes out from the middle of the tap, and the regular water comes out from the outer part. They do not mix.

It can be fitted directly under the tap. The connection from the filter to the tap could be approx. 30-40mm.

The filter is fitted underneath the sink unit. It doesn’t have a shelf life, but as soon as water passes through a filter, it has a 6-month expiration date.

The diameter measurement of the base is 58mm, and the taphole cut out is 35mm.

Hot and cold are 1/2 Inch BSP female – filtered line is 3/8 stem with 1/4 Inch push fit supplied for 1/4 Inch plumbing along with a brass tee to spur off normal 15mm copper onto 1/4 Inch tube supplied.
