3 Features Included In This Product Explained

CE Certified Product

CE Certified Product

CE mark meets the prescribed safety, health and environmental protection requirements and all appropriate EU requirements. This mark is mandatory for products designed, made and sold in the European Economic Area.

Mains-Operated

Mains-Operated

Mains-operated devices work on electricity by plugging into electrical wall sockets. These require higher electrical energy and can't be operated using batteries as small batteries can't power the device. Large, non-portable electrical appliances are typically mains operated.

Flow Straightener

Flow Straightener

A flow straightener, also called Honeycomb, is a fitting which directs the flow of water from the outlet in a way as to straighten the stream. They are generally not flow-regulated and differ in design from the pressure-compensating aerator.

Stephen Asked :

A couple of questions about this tap, if I may please. How do you control the water mix between hot and cold? If I want to fill the basin, how do I do that? Do I have to hold my hand against the sensor until the fill has been completed?

Answered By QS Team Answered by the QS Technical Team

This tap has a single inlet, so the temperature would be pre-set using a thermostatic mixing valve installed prior to the tap, hidden in a serviceable void. Temperature is not adjustable by the end user. As with all Delabie products, they are designed for use in commercial places, not domestic ones. So very rarely is a requirement to fill a basin in a commercial, public washroom. They are designed for hand washing and only turn on when hands are presented to the sensor – in light of water-saving benefits. If you were to fill a basin with this tap, you would need to present your hand to the sensor for as long as you need the tap to run to fill the basin.
