John Asked :Can this unit be used on solid brick walls if you have a solid wall?
The VitrA Aquaheat Bliss 240 Exposed Thermostatic Shower Column can be installed into a brick wall.
John Asked :Will this work with a pump rated at 1.5 bar? Or is 1 bar the rated maximum? Your description is not clear. Does the kit include the riser allowing the 480mm vertical extension?
Your pump will work with the Aquaheat. It needs a minimum of 1 bar of pressure, so 1.5 bar will be fine. The riser rail has a maximum height of 480mm and a minimum height of 75mm, as shown in the technical drawing
sasha Asked :Can you confirm, please, if it is a 150mm centre bar mixer valve?
It has a 150mm centre. For further dimensional details, please refer to the attached technical drawing.
sasha Asked :I was hoping to find the measurement of the thermostatic valve as I will be replacing my existing valve with a new one. I've been informed to measure the distance from the centre of the right fitting to the left fitting (nuts that hold the valve in place). Is that right, and do you have the measurements, please?
Please see the attached technical drawing that shows the measurements you have requested.
Jason Asked :Please can you tell me the difference between the VitrA Aquaheat Bliss, VitrA Aquaheat Bliss 240 range and VitrA Aquaheat Bliss 250 range. They all seem very much alike, so I am confused by the huge difference in prices. I assume it's something to do with the materials. For example, is it that the rain shower head is plastic on the less expensive model etc? Please let me know as I was about to buy one - then found the others and can't tell the difference from reading the limited specifications available.
The difference is that the 240 range has two settings for the overhead shower (spray patterns), whereas the 250 has just one.
Paul Asked :Does this have a temperature override? I.e. over 38 degrees Celcius?
Yes, you can override the temperature to above 38 degrees. There is a small button on the controls to do this.
Graham Asked :What’s the maximum working pressure of the shower, please?
The maximum working pressure of the shower is 10 bar.
We will soon verify the details and add your rating appropriately.
