Rimless

A rimless toilet does not have a brim at its edge, from which the water usually flows when you flush. Instead of flowing from the top, such toilets shoot water towards its edge and around it, allowing no missing spots with filth remaining after a flush. If you want a comfort-height low-projection model, this is a good option, given the price. Can't fault the quality of the ceramics in this WC, however this is paid for by the cistern internal components and the supplied seat being somewhat less so, and you might want to upgrade them as it's a rear cheek design this is easier at the outset. One thing to note is that the pan base design is for a soil pipe which enters from the rear, not up from under the floor, as the pan base fouls on the soil pipe, so even with a soil socket almost at the wall, the cistern has to be packed out from the wall, negating some of the low projection advantages.
