STEPHEN Asked :Hi Guys, I need to purchase three stainless steel urinals. I just need a bit of technical help first to see if they're compatible. Can three of these urinals run off a water tank, or have they got to be cut directly into the main feed for optimum pressure? I know the Chinese ones with spreaders are fine for tanks, but I'm not sure about these stainless ones. Ideally, I would like to run three of them off a tank with a cisterniser.
The three stainless steel urinals can be run using a water tank. The urinals themselves don't need high pressure; they just need a 2-litre flush. The pressure matters more for the flushing system you use, and since you're not using a direct flush valve that requires specific pressure, it's not an issue. Also, these urinals meet the BS EN 13407 standard, which is set for a 2-litre flush.
