Ceramic Materials

Ceramics are classified as a group of inorganic, nonmetallic materials used in the production of ceramic products. Ceramics are a mix of clay, stone, other earthen elements, and water in set proportions. These are shaped and then fired at high temperatures. Their surface is then glazed and even decorated or carved. Ceramics can be both dense and light and have excellent strength and hardness, and are mostly brittle.

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called “without overflow” and will need a compatible drain.
