This sink has been a great disappointment. Franke is a good name, and I thought they would know how to produce an available sink. It looks great, but as soon as any water gets on it for more than a few minutes, what does a sink do but contain water? - it leaves a mark. I can't use a drainer because it marks the surface, and the water drips also leave marks. I have found a rubber draining mat, but I have to dry the things straight away, and even then, the pattern on the mat is left on the surface. We are constantly wiping the drainer and surroundings to keep it looking good. Also, the tea leaves, breadcrumbs, and general bits left in the sink don't wash away easily after washing up. I have to use a lot of water to swill them down, and they never go completely. It seems as if the fall to the plughole is not angled enough, or the surface is not smooth enough.
