The clicker has very poor quality. After the half year of usage, it is all scratched and the thread is broken so it hardly stays in place.

Can you please confirm if this comes with the single grey rubber seal that seals the top and bottom in one piece? Please see the YouTube link where the guy installs a Crosswater waste if I'm not mistaken. The glass fibre layer on my tub is porous, and I have a separate bottom seal only, which means the water travels laterally across the fibre layer and leaks through the pores. Purchased a CW8 Clearwater bath click-clack waste concealed a year ago, fitted very successfully, been fine ever since. Tried to take plug cover off as water wasn't running away efficiently so thought it needed cleaning. Thought it should screw off, but it wouldn't budge, so I googled how to remove. Unfortunately, read the one who said pull off. Realised as I was doing this, there was a screw mechanism so screwed it off. Having screwed the top back on, although it clicks and closes, it now doesn't stay shut. Is there any way I can readjust or replace a part without removing the whole waste?

This Clearwater waste carries 10 years of guarantee from the manufacturer; it will be helpful if you directly contact the manufacturer or retailer from whom you had purchased. You can remove the replacement parts, without removing the whole waste, but make sure that the damaged parts should be available with the local retailer or plumbers.
