Over the years I’ve changed a few toilet seats as my job is to service & maintain a total of 4 small holiday cottages. This Heritage toilet seat really beats all others heads down and is the Rolls Royce of them all. The other seats were fiddly to fit and were continually coming loose and needed re-adjusting often. The Heritage soft-close hinge is so simple to fit compared to the other types and can be completed with ease. But the wonderful thing is I have never needed to readjust since the initial installation. The Heritage seat is a bit more expensive, but I don’t mind paying that little bit extra for a top-quality product. Also, the soft close feature is a joy to be seen. I would highly recommend this model to anyone who wants the best toilet seat money can buy.

I purchased one of these seats for our Heritage Toilet about a year ago and have recently noticed the poor quality 'chrome hinges', which are rusting through. The T hinges still work, but they are starting to look bad, and the chrome looks like it will peel off any now. Sorry - I'm not impressed with the metal quality. However, the seat and seat cover are perfect - no dis-colouring and still look good. If possible, I would be interested in getting another set of chrome or, better still, stainless steel hinges - please advise. Picture of hinges are available if required.

The toilet seat arrived on time, is good quality and looks nice. My husband spent a frustrating hour trying to fit it though and decided, in the end, that one of the parts was incorrect. He rang Heritage, who were very helpful and sent out a new part immediately. Once this was received it was fitted in a trice.

This Heritage white gloss w.c. and the cover is comfortable and the soft close hinge makes it easy to close. It also looks pretty darn good and the white is very white. Just what I wanted.

How is the soft-close hinge fitted to the Heritage TSWGL101SC?

The soft close hinges screw into the seats. We wouldn’t advise fitting the TTRCC073 on an external wall due to access when servicing. This may also affect the warranty.

Hi there, I recently purchased a Heritage Blenheim Comfort Height Close Coupled toilet and cistern via QS. I planned to use an existing designer toilet seat, but that hasn't worked out as the fixings on my existing seat won't fix securely. Can I just check that the Heritage White Gloss Soft Close Hinge WC Seat And Cover are compatible with my Blenheim, please, before purchasing?

We can confirm that the TSWGL101SC White Gloss soft Close seat with Chrome Hinges has adjustable hinges, which will fit all British standard toilets.

Hi, regarding the Heritage soft close white gloss toilet seat. I read a review from another website complaining the seat only had two pads underneath and was unstable. They claim Heritage replaced it with one that has four pads. Please can you confirm if four pads are available? The seat I am replacing has four.

Heritage Soft Close Thermoset Plastic WC Seat Hi, I need a seat that measures at least 445mm from hinge hole centres to the seat's front. Can you tell me if this might fit? It is a large heritage style toilet with a missing seat. Thanks

This seat's total length, including the hinges, is 445mm, but the seat to the hinge holes is 425mm.
