I was looking for conventional screw-down washer taps with a long reach, which enabled me to get my hands under easily in a wash hand basin. The dimensions were, helpfully, on the website. The fitting went pretty well although I reused the brass back nuts from the old taps rather than the provided plastic ones. Would certainly buy again.

Is this basin tap fitted with a rubber washer or with a ceramic modern type that leaks after a few months with a hard water supply?

Can I ask if the taps are full turn? My plumber is asking if they are full turn or quarter turn. I believe they will be full turn.

Can you confirm that these taps are both clockwise screw-down to turn them off? (I do not want the hot and cold taps to be opposite threads so that one turns off clockwise and the other turns off anticlockwise.)
