Have used now for approx 1year excellent only comment could be designed to go flatter so when fitting behind in my case shower could keep shower closer to wall space is always a consideration
The product was more than adequate for the job. I needed the cold water pressure for my mixer shower just right for a comfortable shower and the Deva was perfect for the job.
The valve works as predicted to equalise the pressures. There is some noise but not a problem

Gerrard Asked :Could this be used in conjunction with an impeller pump, i.e. hot water from the tank goes through the pump, cold comes from the mains, and the valve is fitted to the hot water feed after it has already run through the impeller?
If you plan to use a Twin Impeller Pump to provide water, then you do NOT need to fit a Pressure Equalising (P.E.V). However, if you have a single impeller pump, Combi Boiler, or a mains pressure hot water cylinder, you WILL need a P.E.V.
Frank Asked :I have gravity-fed hot water and mains-fed cold. Will this make getting the voting point for a shower easier, as it's tough to get the right balance?
The valve will reduce the higher pressure down to match the lower pressure.
Alan Asked :Will this unit mount vertically and horizontally, please?
Answered By Daryn I have mine in a vertical position; as far as I am aware, it does not matter which orientation you choose. Just make sure the flow direction is correct.
Answered By Russell Hi there, I have fitted these horizontally and vertically and never had a problem. I assume this is for a mains-fed system.
Regards Russell
Answered By Deva The product will mount vertically or horizontally.
