An object d’art that will enhance the splendour of your bathroom, is Cleargreen Ecocurve Bath. This left-handed, sturdy bath is constructed from high grade reinforced Lucite Acrylic. The eco-friendly, high gloss white finish bath can retain heat for 30 minutes, more than any ordinary bath thus allowing you to enjoy the bathe longer. The base of the bathtub is manufactured from encapsulated recycled composite baseboard giving it further strength. It comes without tap holes and carries a 10-year guarantee against any manufacturing defect.

Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

With / Without Overflow

An overflow is a small hole or opening at the upper part of a sink, basin, bidet or tub that drains away water upon reaching its level so that no water is spilt. When a basin or bath does not come with this design feature, it is called 'without-overflow' and will need a compatible drain.

I was very pleased with the speedy delivery of my bath. All parts delivered quickly and in good working order. The bath itself is fabulous. It allows you to have a spacious shower and bath experience whilst, with its narrower end gives the illusion of having a bigger bathroom. The bath itself is of high quality and very comfy to sit in.

The Cleargreen Ecocurve is shown to have taps in the centre of the bath. Can the tap be sited anywhere, or are there strengthened areas suitable for the mounting of the tap? Ideally, I would like a single tap hole at the narrow end or the middle. The plumber I am using to install the bath states the tap needs to be sited where the bath is the strongest.

As this is a showering bath, the other edges are too slim for a tap to be mounted; there are strengthening rods under the whole bath rim, reducing the area even more. You can only put them on the ledge shown in the images.

This bath is designed for corner installation, the 750mm side will go to the corner wall, and the optional panel will fit 500mm side, and Unfortunately, the end panels are one size only for Britton baths measuring at 496.

Cleargreen only has the bath panels facing the room and none that go round the back unfortunately as this bath is designed to sit in the corner of the bathroom.

I have just purchased a Mira mode shower and bath filler. The bath filler outlet measures 62mm in length, including the gasket. This needs to protrude from the waste hole on the Eco curve bath. Looking at the dimensions, this may be a tight fit with the front panel. However, it mounts on the angle and 70mm down so may clear. I would hope so. Can you confirm if it will? I would order bath, panel and screen but not sure until I am sure the filler will fit. I can send a pic/diagram if needed. Regards Jason

If the rear of the filler, the piece that sits between the bath skin and the panel is 67mm, will not fit, you would need something nearer 40mm in depth not to foul the panel.

Many thanks for your email. We wouldn’t recommend installing a bath screen at the narrow end. The narrow end has a slope and is not suitable to shower in that end, and the bath screen is also made for installation at the foot end.
