Specially crafted for convenience and ease of use Crosswaters Belgravia basin taps come with a long nose that facilitates use and crosshead handles with white glazed ceramic temperature indices that offer an excellent grip. Their traditional design is enhanced by a fine nickel or chrome finish.Suitable for deck mounting the taps are manufactured from superior quality brass making them strong, dependable and ideal for daily use. Requiring minimal 0.2 bar water pressure, they are ideal for use in low-pressure systems. Easy to install and maintain they are sold in pairs only and come with a 15-year guarantee against any manufacturing defects.

I have just bought the Belgravia long nose basin tap- BE140DNC. Could you please give me information regarding whether there is a ceramic cartridge which will need replacing in the future? Also if this is the case roughly (I realise this is linked to usage/conditions) the period of time, a cartridge will last. Many Thanks

Your cartridges' life can be extended with regular maintenance; there is no expectancy time frame, unfortunately. For maintenance, remove the cartridge and soak in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water for a few hours. Then flush through with plenty of clean water, Then place back into the product. This can take out any scale or debris in the cartridge that may be causing an issue. However, if there is a developed fault with a cartridge and new ones are required.
