Toughened Safety Glass

Toughened glass, tempered or safety glass as it is rightly called, is five times harder than regular glass of the same size and thickness, which makes it so that it won’t break as easily. It also shatters with scattering as it tends to break into tiny, blunt pieces without harming anyone nearby. Known to have greater thermal strength, this durable material with double glazing has almost twice the soundproofing abilities and provides excellent heat insulation.

Brought for installation later, unwrapped when ready to fit to find it smashed. Told they couldn’t do anything as it was an unreasonable time to report. No good when your buying things in advance for property renovation! I am sure it would have looked good if it was intact.

You can spend a lot on shower screens, but if you are too money-conscious you can get rubbish. This has been installed for several months now and does a great job for an excellent price. Recommended.

One panel is fixed, and the other panel swings in. The swing in dimension is 480mm.
