matthew Asked :Can I buy spares for Berkley 3 hole taps? There is a horizontal connection between hot and cold, which is in 12mm copper? I can't seem to find this. Thanks
Refer technical drawing for the Berkley 3TH basin mixer; if the parts highlighted in yellow are what you are looking for, then these parts do not come with the brassware, it is up to the installer/plumber to provide these bits.
ian Asked :We have moved into a new house with these Silverdale Berkeley 3 Taphole Basin Mixer Taps With Pop-Up Waste in the bathroom. The taps are lovely so want to keep them, but they are leaking - possibly a washer needs replacing. How do you take the tap apart, or is it a sealed unit? I don't intend to replace them with the same ones, so I just want to take it apart and see if it is the washer. Thanks
To get access to the valves, you will need to flip up the indices on the top of the tap (the bit that says hot or cold) and underneath there is a screw. When you unscrew this, the tap heads will come off, and the valves will be exposed. We do sell replacement valves. We only sell them in pairs and the code to order is BSP0144 for basin taps. The RRP is £54.21 + VAT. There would also be a carriage charge of £3.50 + VAT making the total cost £57.70 + VAT.
