Replaced old swan neck tap as it leaked. Like the look of this tap, it's solid, but due to the design, it dribbles for a short while after it's turned off. QS Supplies Support Team offered to replace the tap or send a new aerator to see if that may solve the issue. The aerator did solve the issue but the flow was much slower so we decided to keep the dribbling tap. QS would have changed the tap but, to be honest, the plumber had already thrown away the packaging and I couldn't be bothered to source a new one. It's not in the sink I mostly use so it doesn't really affect me. I wouldn't be happy with it if it did.

I chose these basin taps as they looked very stylish. We are renovating our bathroom right back to the bare walls so I've spent a while looking for the perfect taps as well as everything else we will need. The tap swivels so that immediately made them even more desirable. We have used Qs before and will certainly use them again. Delivery was just two days and communication regarding delivery was very good.

Just a quality product that you expect from Bristan. It is simple to fit and comes with a solid brass waste. Would recommend to anyone rather than buy any 'cheaper' alternatives.

One more question, does this tap have a 'handle' on the back that can be pushed to click open the stop in the water basin?

We have looked into this for you, and we can confirm the product comes with a clicker waste which is operated by the plug being pressed. There is no rod/handle at the back of the tap to operate the waste.

At present, I have a pop-up waste and am only replacing a tap. Can I replace it with clicker waste tap or do I have to choose a tap with pop up waste? Thank you.

DX BAS C has only ever come with clicker waste. Would you be able to send over a photo of the tap to check if it's definitely the Decade you have? Replacing a clicker waste with a pop-up waste will depend on the space you have underneath the sink as it requires three sections which go down, across, and up the back of the tap. It should be fine if it's vice versa, but if you give us the taps you are looking at, We can check that for you.
