The bath looks great, it’s very comfortable, sturdy and most importantly, keeps the bath warmer for so much longer than our previous bath. Definitely choose the Carronite upgrade! Once again, at the best price available, thanks

Graham Asked :Can you please tell me the centres of the tracks under the Carron Quantum acrylic and Carronite bath, as I am reinforcing the floor where the bath will fit? Could you give dimensions from the non-tap end, please? Also, looking from the end of the bath, how far in and at what centres are the feet that way? The diagram shows the bath 515mm to the underside. Is this the lowest setting the bath can be set at?
The 515mm is to accommodate our panel, so your overall height would be 565mm. The feet can be lowered easily by 30mm if not using the panel. Regarding the channels and feet, we don’t pinpoint an exact area in case of any obstructions. It is advised that they should be on the baseboard area of the bath, approximately a third of the way from either end. It doesn’t have to be specific as long as you displace the weight evenly on the base of the bath.
Anne-Marie Asked :Carron Quantum single-ended 1600 x 700 bath - what is the internal depth (a) at the furthest end from the plughole (b) at the plughole end?
The depth of the bath at the sloping end is 385mm and the depth at the waste hole end is 410mm. Please find attached the technical data-sheet for the Quantum 1600x700 to help you with your enquiries.
Anne Asked :What is the internal depth of the Carron Quantum single-ended 1600 x 700 at the shallow end?
Internal Depth is 410mm.
Pete Asked :I am looking at the Carron quantum 1600 x 700 bath, does this bath have a flat edge preferably sloping inwards slightly and suitable for a shower panel. Our current bath edge slopes outwards so the shower panel leaks!
Most of Carron Baths are suitable for showering. Quantum can take a screen without any problems. The ledge is flat and like all of our baths have a slight gradient inwards to allow excess water to run in.
kim Asked :Hi, I am looking for a 1600 x 700 bath with bottom fixings rather than a cradle. Please can you tell me if the Carron quantum single-ended bath would be suitable? Or you can suggest another. Thank you Kim
All of Carron models now have bottom channels with adjustable feet for installation; we no longer use cradles. So, this bath should be just right for you!
Alan Asked :Does the Carron Quantum single-ended bath 1600 x 700, come with legs?
Hi Alan, The Carron Quantum Single-ended Bath comes with legs.
Dan Asked :Carton quantum single-ended bath 1600 x 700. Can tap holes be pre-drilled in the centre-left side of the bath if looking from sloped end to plug?
Hi Dan, The bath comes without tap holes, and the tap holes can be drilled at any position. The drilling of tap holes is now common practice done by bathroom fitters.
