Carron Quantum Bath is designed to provide you with lavish bathing pleasures. This double-ended bath offers you ample space and depth to submerge and relax in a truly refreshing bath. It is made from 5mm thick acrylic material to stand the test of time. With its stylish centre bath waste placement, the Carron Quantum bath is the latest in bath design for comfort as well as looks. It is supplied without tap holes, but it can easily be drilled on-site if required.

How steep are the sides on the Carron Quantum Double Ended 5mm Acrylic Bath 1700 x 700mm? Is it suitable to use for showering with a shower screen? (i.e. is it safe to stand in ?)

The slopes of a Quantum 1700 DE are 26 degrees. This gives you 320mm from the standing position to the wall. Both the standard and Carronite models are suitable for showering in.

Any standard waste fitment will fit this bath – you can have either plug and chain or a pop-up waste.

Which overflow and waste will match this bath or do any fit? It is not clear from the listing and for non-plumbers, how can we tell?

Not sure if you received an answer to your question. Carron manufactures the actual bath only; they do not supply fittings such as wastes, taps, etc. These usually come from us. We can confirm that the Quantum Duo model will take any standard waste and overflow, or something like a pop-up waste. The waste and overflow holes drilled are an industry-standard size, so almost any waste and overflow set you choose should fit.
