Everything about this fan and light seems good quality. All the electrics sit above the fan and extract unit to reduce the risk of problems. Strong fan is very effective, but not too loud, delay fan timer duration is also good. Fitted about a year ago and going well with no concerns.
Using the fan in a small bathroom. Excellent so far, used for one month. There is noise but I can barely hear it outside the bathroom. As the motor is in the loft. The rate of extraction is great. No more steamy bathroom!
As yet the bathroom is not complete. ,ordered this early Because it needed to be fitted early on in the scheme , it seems A powerful unit. A delight to look at , arrived quick , price very competitive.
This product worked fine for about 6months. Now all I'm left with is a light. Fan never comes on, causing the bathroom to be dripping wet with condensation
Good looks and function. It is quite noisy and has a deep growling & throbbing sound. Seems cheaply constructed.
Very efficient and stylish. Crisp blue/ white light. Powerful yet quiet extract
Not completely silent but very quiet. Looks good and runs well.
Not silent but very quiet. Nice looking nice light.
Good service, delivered on time.

Vittoria Asked :How do you remove the white grace to reveal the holes for screws?
You should be able to twist the cover to the left (anti-clockwise) to open it. It is quite tight/stiff, but it will release.
anthony Asked :What is the warranty on HIB QS-V71998 MFC CODE: 3260?
All Hib products have a 2-year guarantee.
Steven Asked :How do you replace the bulb when it goes?
To replace the bulb on this unit, you would need to twist the fan's fascia, which would allow you to gain access to the bulb and replace it if necessary.
Alan Asked :How do you fit the grill facia to the plasterboard ceiling, i.e. remove the chrome outer ring? On Art No 33700 cyclone and illumination extraction fan. Noted on a fan, I fit Art 3340 on the grill fascia; there is a white tight-fitting ring which could help to secure the fascia in the ceiling. Why does there appear not to be a similar ring with model Art No33700?
The reason for this is because the non-illuminated fascia is a lot lighter than the illuminated one, so you can secure that non-illuminated on simply by using that adjustable plastic ring; you can still screw it into the ceiling if you wish. The illuminated one is heavier, so it will need to be screwed in.
andrew Asked :Does the HIB cyclone wet room illuminated chrome extractor fan, QS-V71997 MFC CODE: 32700, come with a back-draft shutter?
This item does not come with a back-draft damper.
