Optional Carronite Bath

Carronite baths from Carron are stronger and heavier than standard baths. It contains a triple-layer reinforcement system, which adds to its durability and retains heat for a longer time.

Optional: Front Panel

A front bath panel is a decorative accessory that is used to cover the front-facing side of a bathtub for a neat and polished look. It also conceals plumbing and framework and comes in different sizes, textures and materials.

We drill a 52mm overflow and waste hole on all of our bath models. I have attached a product data-sheet in the technical tab above, which shows this mode with panels.

Please advise the acrylic thickness, i.e. 8mm or less; I want one that you can stand on as installing a shower above bath?

Carron manufactures this model in both standard finish, and Carronite. Both are moulded from 5mm acrylic. The difference is in the reinforcement – on a Carronite bath, the acrylic goes through a 3 stage process of reinforcement on the underside, which adds to the bath's strength and stability.
