Dual-Flush

Hello, we have moved into a house with the slow close seat and cover S1076SC fitted to Compact close coupled cistern & pan. The lid stays up as required, but the seat will not stay up, making it awkward for a man to use as the seat closes before required, (i.e. mid pee). Can you tell me how to adjust the close mechanism so the seat will stay in the up position while in use? Many thanks.

The seat may fault with the soft-close mechanisms; these can be purchased through us and would be chargeable as they are only covered for 12 months.
